Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal held an hour-long meeting with the officials of the Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI) at the BSF border outpost of Shikhaar Masiahan, 10 km away from the Kartarpur corridor.

She was accompanied by SAD leaders Parambans Singh Bunty Romana and Sarabjot Singh Sabi.

The LPAI is handling the arrangements at Shikhar Masiahan where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to land in a helicopter on November 9. The same agency is engaged in the construction of the ICP at the corridor site.

The minister reviewed the seating arrangements and also went around the place where langar (community kitchen) is being set up.

Sources say former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal and some religious leaders will accompany Modi till the ICP, where the inaugural ceremony has been planned.
