The cloudy weather and mild rainfall this evening again increased the worries of residents as rainwater has already damaged crops in nearly 50 villages in the district.

Further, the rainwater is seeping through the railway tracks, posing a threat to the rail traffic on the Muktsar-Kotkapura section. The water is even flowing on the road leading to Udekaran village. — TNS
