The Dirba police have registered a rape case against a local resident and her son on the complaint of a Hisar-based woman. ASI Rajwinder Kaur said the victim had alleged that accused Gurdeep Singh and his mother took her to Dirba from Hisar on the pretext of marriage.

“The accused allegedly raped her for 20 days and refused to marry her. We have booked Gurdeep and his mother,” she said. — TNS
