A murder accused escaped from the Badrukhan police post within sometime of his arrest. Baljit Singh, brother of deceased Mall Singh (58) of Badrukhan village, had alleged that on Friday Parmjit Singh and Sukhbir Singh from their village attacked his brother, who died. Last night the police registered a case. Sukhbir was arrested this morning while Parmjit Singh was arrested last evening. Sukhbir escaped from the police post within sometime of his arrest,” said Major Singh, younger brother of the deceased. — TNS
