Reacting to The Tribune reports following directions from the CMO, District Magistrate Sandeep Hans today ordered to review all recent mutations in the church land grabbing incident.

Hans said SDM Gurwinder Singh Johal had sought permission from him to review the controversial mutations. “I have granted permission,” he said. The DM also confirmed that a separate inquiry against the tehsildar for executing the controversial mutations would be conducted by the district revenue officer and action would be taken accordingly.— TNS
