A 47-year-old man hailing from Sidhwan Dona village here was gunned down in Manila today. The victim, Narinder Singh Laddi, had been working in Manila for the past nearly 23 years while his family resides in the village.

He had reportedly gone for work on his bike when five bullets hit him on his back killing him on the spot. Laddi had last visited his village about five months back. The entire village remains tense as there are more men from here working in Manila as financiers.
