Amritsar, July 27

British MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi has sought an appointment from Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to put forth the demand for an Amritsar-London flight.

This follows after a delegation of vigilant citizens led by Harjap Singh Aujla met him recently at the House of Commons. Aujla said the residents of Dhesi’s Slough constituency complained to him of unnecessary road journey to Delhi from Amritsar. — TNS
