Best Lawyers in Chandigarh Remand of Abohar boy’s killers extended

A local court today extended the police remand of Sunil Kumar Sheilu and Pawan Kumar Anky of Azeemgarh Colony for two days. They were arrested for kidnapping and killing 12-year-old Arman Sandhu.

During the five-day custody, the police reportedly recovered a bike, car and a tempo allegedly used by the accused for kidnapping, killing and dumping the body of the boy near railway over bridge on the Malout road. The spade used to dig a pit to dump the body has also been recovered, sources said.

The police had last week recovered the body of financier Baljinder Singh Sandhu’s son Arman, who was abducted by a motorcyclist from outside his house in Nai Abadi on October 17. He was a student of LRS DAV Senior Secondary Model School here. Sunil and Pawan of Azeemgarh colony were arrested. — OC
