A 13-year old boy died of suspected dengue at Subhas Chander Colony in the Moga city, the local health authorities confirmed here today. This is the second death due to suspected dengue in the district in a week.
On November 22, a 30-year-old man identified as Harpreet Singh died of dengue at Dharamkot town in the district. He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ludhiana.
The 13-year old boy who died of suspected dengue has been identified as Khushal Garg, health officials said. However, the health officials did not confirm that the boy died of dengue claiming that they would ascertain the exact cause of his death by going through his medical history because he was not admitted in the government hospital. — TNS
