Best Lawyers in Chandigarh Sikh leaders likely to meet Pak PM today

A delegation of Sikhs from Nankana Sahib, accompanied by Pakistan Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) officials, is expected to meet Pakistan PM Imran Khan urging his intervention in the alleged abduction, conversion and forceful marriage of a Sikh girl to a Muslim man.

Sources said the meeting could be held at 1 pm on Tuesday. The delegation would include PSGPC chief Satwant Singh and general secretary Ameer Singh.

Jagjit Kaur, the daughter of a priest of Gudwara Tambu Sahib in Nankana Sahib, was reportedly forced to marry Mohammad Hassan after converting her religion to Islam. Confusion still prevailed over whether the girl took this step on her own or under pressure.

Meanwhile, another video has surfaced on social media in which a man, appeared to be a Pakistani lawyer, claimed that this high-profile case was being handled lightly by the Pakistan authorities. He claimed that the investigation of the case was handed over to an ASI-level officer, Jamil Ahmad, whereas the community demanded an SP-level probe.
