Tension prevailed at Pirke village in Jalalabad subdivision of the district as two cows were poisoned to death by some unidentified persons. Khushal Singh of the village stated that he and his family members had gone to Nidhan village and some unidentified persons administered poison substance to some cows, out of which two were found dead. The unidentified persons have been booked under Section 429/34 of the IPC.
