Best Lawyers in Chandigarh Centre gives Rs 27crore for Sultanpur Lodhi

The Centre has released the first advance instalment, amounting to Rs 27.11 crore, from its share of funds earmarked for Sultanpur Lodhi Smart City project, slated for launch on the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
The estimated cost of the project under the Smart Cities Mission is Rs 271.11 crore. It is to be equally distributed between the Centre and the state government.
Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh will launch a series of projects for various towns/regions associated with the Guru.
In its letter to the state government, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has said the sanction shall be regulated in accordance with the provision of GFR 2017, and the amount has to be used as a tied grant, to be kept as a separate city level grant.
