To explore bilateral trading prospects, an Australian delegation today visited Amritsar and paid obeisance at Golden Temple.

Christened as “Trade Mission India 2019”, it was jointly led by Blacktown City Mayor Stephen Bali and former NSW Premier Nathan Rees.

MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla briefed them about the key issues concerning the trade. A group of local traders also held a brief discussion with them.

Bali said the Blacktown council produced more than 17.1 billion dollars in goods and services every year, 1.40 lakh jobs, growing at 4.6 per cent per annum and was the fastest economy in Australia.
