Akal Takht officiating Jathedar Giani Hapreet Singh has demanded a thorough probe into the lapses that led to floods in the state.

He said it was the liability of the Centre and the state government to probe if it was a natural calamity or negligence on the part of the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). “The integrity of the board management has come under lens and it is their responsibility to clarify their stance.
