Judicial Magistrate Etu Sodhi put off the defamation case filed by ex-Revenue Minister Bikram Majithia against AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh till August 31.

Ex-Akali MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali, produced as a witness in Majithia’s support, was today cross-examined. He claimed that he was unnecessarily being portrayed to be involved with drug racketeers nabbed by the Akali government during their regime in Punjab. — OC
