SGPC to install Dr Santokh’s portrait in Sikh museum

The SGPC has decided to install a portrait of former Sikh Students Federation activist and renowned eye surgeon late Dr Santokh Singh in the Central Sikh Museum located on the Golden Temple complex.

This was revealed by SGPC chief secretary Roop Singh, who is in Bhopal to represent the SGPC in the Gurmat training camp at Gurdwara Hamidia Road and also pay homage to the departed soul.

Roop Singh also inaugurated the expanded version of the free dispensary started by Dr Santokh Singh in 1969.

Dr Santokh Singh passed away May 19 at the age of 96. He was a towering figure having six-decade-long medical career to his credit.
